I am a 24 year old Sydney girl who is travelling on the Reefs and Rainforrests trip departing Cairns on the 9th of October. I am just seeing if there is anyone out there who is also doing the same trip? This will be my 4th trip with Contiki. I have travelled and seen alot of the world, but not that much of Australia, so that is why I have decided to do this trip.

So if there is anyone out there who is also doing the same trip, drop me a line.

Great to hear that you may be on the same tour! Have you travelled with contiki before? I am guessing that I am going to be the only Australian on the tour....but I am looking forward to meeting new people from around the world.Chase up the confirmation with the travel agent as you don't want to miss out. I am arriving into Cairns 2 days before the tour on the 7th of October. I have never been up there before so I am really looking forward to it. I have been to the Great Barrier Reef before, but that was ages ago. When are you arriving into Cairns?

Hi Nicola,

First time that I travel with Contiki, first time that I travel alone, first time that I'm going to Australia.

I don't know exactly when I'm arriving in Cairns, I am still waiting for the exact flight dates etc. If I don't hear anything from the travel agent today, I'm going to contact them, because it's taking too long and I want to be sure that I'm going. But anyway, I should be arriving 1 or 2 days before the tour starts. Hopefully I can recover from my jetlag during that time

My husband and I are on R&R leaving Cairns on Oct 9th too. We're going to be in Cairns the day before the trip leaves. We're both 32 and from the US. Definitely looking forward to the tour, meeting people and hopefully having a blast.
