Hey Everyone,
I think I might be a little early for posting, but I am going on the Reef and Rainforest tour sometime in the beginning of November 2006. I am not sure of the days yet though, because they don't have them out. I just finished the London to Athens tour 4 months ago, and I have to say I am sooooo addicted to Contiki. It was the best time of my life! sooo AMAZING! If you haven't been on a contiki tour yet, you are in for a real adventure. Well, from what I can remember....hehe... Anyway, I'm Liz, 22 from Canada, blond hair, brown eyes. I work in a hospital as a medical administrator, and I am a total party animal! I think any situation can be fun if you let it be. Hey Lisa,
I have never been to Australia before, but it has always been the one place that I wanted to see. I am going to be going on the first available tour in November. How about you? Are you just doing this tour? Have you ever been to Oz? As of right now I am going alone. My best friend is trying to save some money up to go, but she isn't sure she can save that much up by then. I am going to be doing this tour, then going to visit a few friends I met on the last tour, and then going for a week to the Bali Indonesia Contiki resort for a week. Where abouts in England are you from? I was there 2 years ago backpacking. Anyway, you should totally do the first tour of the month! I always make fun everywhere. Take care, Liz |

Hi liz,
Im going on the Reefs ans Rainforests tour which starts on the 15 nov in Cains to Sydney. Ive not found anyone going on the tour yet. This will be my first contiki tour and i hope to have a great time and let my hair down!! Im Toni, female, 20 from England, I plan to do lots more traveling this is just the start. How many contiki tours have you been on? Im doing the Sydney Scene and Aussie Explorer before the Reefs and rainforests, ill be in OZ for 2 months in total and im so excited!!! Hey Toni,
I have been on just one Contiki tour before. I did the London to Athens and then I went to the Mykonos Resort in Greece. It was the best time of my life. I find myself always looking back at the pictures and just smiling. I have met so many good friends and we take turns visiting one another around the world. It is worth the experience. I hear the tours on Australia are alot smaller then the European ones, but I am sure they are just as good. Once you go Contiki you never go back lol. I am jelous that you are going to be in Oz for 2 months! I can only get a month off of work or else I would have stayed longer. Have you done any other traveling before? I just came home from the Carribean a week ago, It was nice to get away from the Canadian snow......drank for a week straight and ended up getting sick hehe. Have you already booked the trip? You should do the one at the beginning of the month. Liz |

Where are you from in Canada? I'm Megan, 22 from Calgary and I'm thinking of doing this trip in either late September or early November of this year. I think after that I will backpack around Oz and New Zealand for a year and maybe head over to Thailand as well if I have time. I'm so glad to see thats lots of girls are going by themselves to travel. I also had a friend that I was supposed to be travelling with and she bailed at the last minute cause she couldn't save up enough either. So I've kind of been nervous to go half way across the world by myself and wasn't sure if I would meet other cool people to travel with. So its rather refreshing to know I'm not the only one! Hi Liz, Lisa and (possibly) Megan !
I'm on the Beaches and Reefs leaving Sydney on the 5th November so if you're leaving Sydney on the same date then guess we are all on the same coach up till Cairns. Travelling with 2 mates (one from London, one from Coventry) and I'm from the Isle of Man. There's a couple of others who are on the Aussie Explorer who I guess will be on the same coach too. It will be my second Contiki as I'm doing the Western Highlights in the USA in September. Which date do you start in Cairns ? Maybe we'll be in one of the places at the same time ?If not then we'll look out for you and wave when we pass you !  Greg |

I arrive in Cains on the 9th November and start the tour on the 15th (staying in a hotel for a bit with nice swimming pools :-)!) Ill wear my Saints football shirt so i should stick out like a sore thumb - but at least u will see me hehe Lisa x |
