I'll be following it up immediately with a few days extra in sydney and then off to Melbourne.

Hey Mandy!  My name is Laurinda and I've just booked on your tour.  I'm quite a bit older than you, I'm 32!  I live in Nashville, TN.  I am traveling alone as well.  This is my second Contiki tour.  My first one, I went on the message boards to meet people before I left, but I didn't end up hanging out with them on the tour!  Everyone was really nice and fun and the trip was a blast!
